Terms of Service

Scope of service

• Sessions provide non-medical dementia-care education, guidance, and family support.
• Sessions do not include diagnosis, treatment, therapy, licensed clinical case management, legal advice, financial advice, or emergency response.
• Booking a session does not create a clinical, therapeutic, fiduciary, or attorney-client relationship.

Not an emergency service

• If someone is in immediate danger, missing, or may be experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or seek urgent medical care. Saharo cannot respond to emergencies.

Your responsibilities

• You are responsible for decisions made for yourself or your family member. Guidance is informational and should be considered alongside advice from medical, legal, and financial professionals.
• Please provide accurate information so the session can be prepared appropriately.

Payment

• Session fees are shown before checkout and collected at the time of booking through our payment processor. Prices are in U.S. dollars.

Rescheduling, cancellations, and refunds

• Sessions can be rescheduled or cancelled up to 24 hours before the start time using the link in your confirmation email. Cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance are eligible for a full refund, typically returned to the original payment method within 5–10 business days. Changes inside 24 hours are handled case by case.
• Missed appointments without notice are generally non-refundable.

Recordings and confidentiality

• Sessions are not recorded unless all participants agree in advance.
• Information shared during a session is kept confidential except where disclosure is required by law.

Limitation of liability

• To the fullest extent permitted by law, liability arising from use of this service is limited to the amount paid for the session in question.
• The service is provided without warranties of any kind regarding specific outcomes.

Intellectual property

• Written summaries, worksheets, and site content are provided for your family's personal use and may not be resold or republished.

Governing law and changes

• These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
• Terms may be updated as the service changes; the effective date below reflects the current version.
